  2. A. heracliana / A. ciliella separable by inspecting the hindwing cilia, plus ciliella typically larger. I've checked loads over the years at home and have never seen ciliella - seems to be genuinely scarce here in VC55 with no recent confirmed records.

  3. Hi Mark, recently Tom Tams has gen detted a series of herac / ciliella and found that even ones with the supposed hind wing of ciliella have turned out to be heracliana! He wont now accept any without gen det...
