Just popped out for a tick...
Literally.
I found this nice 1272 Pammene aurana on some hogweed on our drive tonight. A new species for me, 4th 5th for VC68, 14th for Northumberland, the earliest by 4 days and the first since 2008.

Well there are some very similar species, but I'm sure it must have been Hogweed.
