Down to 5 degrees last night and now only 7 degrees at midday! While hosepipe bans and droughts appear to dominate the news for the bottom 30% of the UK the rest of us are about as sick as. Every weekend since the end of April I have hoped for a field trip up ont't'moors,but so far every one has been cancelled due to crap weather.
Western Scotland has barely had a good day since Easter and we have fared little better. Dryer, but still cool and not summery at all.
Today has to be seen to be believed. It is March out there. Cold, still no warmer than 7 degrees today with a moderate NW'erly and solid rain. And tomorrow looks the same.
