Butterbur...

11 degrees, cloudy and some rain.

My third garden record of Butterbur was a good record, there aren't too many dots on the atlas for it, but a second for Platyptilia gonodactyla and a first showing for Aspilapteryx tringipennella was even better.

In no particular order... Butterbur.

  1. Hopeful of adding Butterbur to the VC55 list this year (at least a modern reliable record!)

  2. Good Luck Mark, they aren't as sedentary as they would have you believe...the nearest butterbur plants to me are half a mile away.
